The 43rd German-American Festival, the Toledo area's oldest, largest and greatest ethnic festival with authentic German food, beer and entertainment. It is sponsored by seven German- and Swiss-American societies in Toledo.

Toledo Blues Festival - July 2004

The Toledo Blues Festival will take place in downtown Toledo July, 24 in Promenade Park. Festival hours are 2:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.

Cost is $5.00. I love the names of blues bands. Saturday's performers: Ron Crawdaddy Crawford and the Blues Connoisseur's, The Teeny Tucker Blues Band, Chicago Blues Review, Doug Demming & The Jewel Tones Featuring Fingers Taylor, and Savoy Brown.

Toledo Music Festival

Only six years old and the Toledo Music Festival has already grown into a monster. The event that started as a one-day showcase of 30-odd bands in 1999 is now a two-day festival with a dizzying 110 acts performing everything from punk and hard rock to blues and hip-hop on six indoor and outdoor stages at Headliners.

The 21st annual Lagrange Street Polish Festival will welcome tens of thousands of visitors from 5 to 10 p.m. [Friday], noon to 10 p.m. Saturday, and noon to 8 p.m. Sunday. St. Hedwig's Catholic Church, at 2916 Lagrange, will host a party within a party at its annual three-day Polish festival.

Crosby Festival of the Arts - June 2004

Artists from across the country will participate in the 39th Annual Crosby Festival of the Arts at the Toledo Botanical Gardens. The festival is a three-day event this year, open to the public from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Friday, June 25, from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 26 and 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 27. The Fine Arts Frenzy (formerly known as the Preview Party) is from 6:30 to 10 p.m. on Friday, June 25. For more information contact the Toledo Botanical Gardens.

Art Tatum Jazz Festival - June 2004

Saturday & Sunday, June 19 & 20, 2004 at International Park. Toledo native Art Tatum is universally considered the greatest jazz pianist of all time.

The Art Tatum Jazz Heritage Festival honors Tatum with a two-day outdoor program, featuring local, regional and national jazz acts, performing a variety of jazz: straight-ahead, Latin, Big Band and more!

Admission is FREE for TJS members and children ages 12 and under. Student tickets will be just $5 and general admission is just $12 each day.Weekend passes will be available for $20 per person.
