The Black Swamp Bird Observatory is looking for volunteers.

The Toledo-Lucas County Public Library has kept its place among the top-10 ranked libraries among cities of similar size, marking the fourth consecutive year it has been recognized by the national rating index. On Nov. 4, voters approved a 1-mill operating levy for more books, better computer facilities, and the resumption of Sunday library hours.

We decided to burn our gift certificates at Barnse and Noble Friday morning, December 27th. Then we visited the Christian bookstore where my wive and I bought new bibles for ourselves. [Then] we headed for Zingerman's deli in Ann Arbor. That's a great place to eat. We stopped at their bakehouse near I-94, which is located in a business complex.

I birded at Metzger, the west-end of Ottawa, and Magee early Wednesday morning [Aug 7, 2002]. Afterwards, we went to COSI. It was fun. Lots to see, read, and play with. I enjoyed the weather room and the tornado machine. The guy who managed the body system game was funny. We left about 4:00 P.M. and went to Ann Arbor.
